Tardies

Tardies are considered Level 1 Infractions. Being late for school or class too often (more than once a week) is considered being tardy.

Level I offenses are minor acts of misconduct that interfere with the orderly operation of the classroom, a school function, extracurricular/co-curricular program, or approved transportation. The school district employee involved should intervene in the misconduct. If further action is necessary, the school district employee should refer the student to the school administrator for disciplinary action. After hearing the student’s explanation, consulting with staff members, and doing any other investigation necessary, the administrator will decide on disciplinary action.
